If you have not already visited Peats Bite - we highly recommend that you come and dine with us prior to requesting a comprehensive quote for your wedding. We are not a Function venue as such - but a restaurant, with no road access.
Due to our unique location, it is important that you experience & understand the location and the logistics involved to hold your special day at Peats Bite.

EXCLUSIVE HIRE T&C:
Minimum spend is inclusive of Peats Bite services. This includes all meals, drinks, Peats Bite accommodation, Peats Bite transport and venue hire. The minimum spend does not include any hired equipment or hired services including contracted ferry companies or outside suppliers. Please note Peats Bite does not offer exclusive hire for Public Holiday weekends or the months of December, January & February. All weddings must engage our preferred wedding coordinators Little Lane Events to handle all styling, coordination and on-day event management. This is an additional charge of $15,000 which includes $5000 of styling. They have extensive experience and contacts in the industry and Peats Bite have a trusted relationship which spans nearly a decade. All receptions are based on a 6-hour function time from guest arrival to main guest departure. Function time can finish no later than 9pm on a weekday or Sunday and as late as 10.00pm on a Friday or Saturday. All Weddings are charged a venue hire of $5000 Venue hire fee which covers the property for a total of 6 hours function time + 2 hours of Bump in time and 1 hour Bump out time. Additional hourly rate is at $800 per hour required.
BOND & HOUSE RULES:
Peats Bite is fully licensed and always remains dedicated to upholding responsible service of alcohol to guests. Any unruly behaviour, excessive alcohol or drug intoxication will not be tolerated and WILL result in removal from the property by local authorities. In the event a water taxi is called to remove a person from the premises a fee of $800 will be charged. We want all our guests to have a unique & enjoyable experience at Peats Bite. That’s why, to be fair to everyone, we ask our guests to follow some basic house & courtesy rules. Please keep noise down after 10.00pm, we do have neighbours with young children For those staying more than one evening use of the pool is permitted until 9.00pm. The pool is not to be used during or after any wedding reception. If guests appear intoxicated, they are not permitted to use the pool at any stage of day or night. Access to the restaurant area is prohibited once main bar is closed Excessive amounts of alcohol are not permitted to be brought into the Bungalows. However, you are most welcome to bring your own, small quantity, to be enjoyed in your Bungalow after the restaurant /bar has closed No BYO is permitted around the pool, on the jetty or around the restaurant area As there are young children on the property, nudity and unacceptable language is not tolerated All group bookings require a flat rate of $2000 paid in advance as a property damage and cleaning bond. This is returned in full on post function inspection. This along with a signed agreement will be required one week prior the event.BOOKING CONDITIONSTentative bookings will be held for a fortnight. Once a date is confirmed we will send a quote which must be accepted in 48 hours. A deposit invoice of $5,000 is requested which secures exclusive use of the venue and all rooms. An additional $7,000 deposit is requested for the engagement of Little Lane Event. Their terms and conditions are outlined in their contract and do not reflect what Peats Bite have outlined as terms and conditions.Peats Bite deposit of $5000 is fully refundable outside 90 days of the function date or in the event the business is not able to withhold the commitment to host the function.An additional $5000 is required 60 days out of the function date and an additional $2000 property bond is expected 7 days prior the event.If the cancellation is made within the final 120 days, the full deposit will be held as a cancellation fee.Final numbers are required 2 weeks prior to the event and a guaranteed minimum number of guests must be confirmed 7 days prior. At this stage a final invoice will be sent.Final payment can be made by cheque, direct transfer or credit card. Please note credit card payments incur a 1.5% surcharge. Full payment for all meals, drinks packages, transport, accommodation and venue hire must be paid on receiving the final invoice in the week leading up to the event.
